THE DISTILLERY

 Our Process
Crafted in the experienced hands of our Master Distiller, Kevin Curtis, a seasoned pro who refined his career as a former distiller of some of the most prestigious world-class bourbons. For Puncher’s Chance™, Kevin uses a marriage of 5 and 6-year bourbon barrels. The mash bill is a 90-proof combo of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% barley. A true Kentucky bourbon with distinct taste and mass appeal, Puncher’s Chance™ is inspired by two great American traditions: whiskey, and fighting for what we believe in.

Wolf Spirit Distillery was founded with the aim to share the best independent premium spirits. Our team is driven to disrupt the status quo with new ideas, innovative products, and authentic stories. We started with a dream to create a great tasting vodka. From there, we built our home in the scrappiest, most dedicated way — setting up our distillery in a former laundromat because the piping was so good. For us, hard work comes easy.

TASTING NOTES

Kentucky- A marriage of 4, 5 and 6 year old KY Straight Bourbon. Adored for its caramel, spicy, slightly sweet and creamy vanilla flavor notes. A complex oaky sweetness alongside orange, dark chocolate, leather and baking spices.The finish is long with sweet maple and sugar notes.

Puncher’s Chance™ from Wolf Spirit Distillery is an entrepreneurial success story, very tied to its founder’s purpose in fighting for what we believe in, upending the system, and living courageously with great purpose. Raise this unusual cocktail to all the other brave souls you know! The Bourbon’s notes of chocolate and baking spices complement apple purée and somehow match with the basil.

INGREDIENTS:

2 oz. Puncher’s Chance™ Bourbon
0.75 oz. lemon juice
0.5 oz. apple purée
0.5 oz. honey syrup
2-3 fresh basil leaves
Soda water to top
METHOD:
Add first five ingredients to an iced shaker. Shake well and strain into an iced Collins glass. Top with soda water.

GARNISH:
Basil leaf, green apple slices

GINGER BITTER
Move over tequila: Kentucky bourbon makes a killer Paloma, too! The name is a nod to Bruce Buffer, “the voice of mixed martial arts” and perhaps the brand’s leading fan who, often talks about how the bitter comes with the sweet. He explains: “The phrase ‘puncher’s chance’ honors the underdog; it abbreviates the fact that even against all odds, you always have the chance to win. I see that nearly every day in the boxing ring, and beyond.”

INGREDIENTS:

2 oz. Puncher’s Chance™ Bourbon
0.75 oz. fresh lime juice
0.75 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
0.5 oz. ginger syrup
Soda water to top
METHOD:
Add first four ingredients to an iced shaker. Shake well and strain into an iced Collins glass. Top with soda water.
